Artificial intelligence has moved the boundaries of photography. It is a powerful tool, and that is exactly why it must be mastered. For Emanuele, it is not an imitation of reality but a language of its own. It doesn't chase the forced realism of what doesn't exist. It looks for a voice of its own, as recognizable as film, digital, even a smartphone. Every medium leaves its mark. But the medium alone is not enough. Everyone carries a camera, few know how to make an image. Unlike other tools, here there are no limits. And yet the process becomes almost the opposite of technology. While the image takes shape there is a wait, close to the time of development, when you didn't yet know what you had made. And as with film, the images are few. Each one has to be chosen.
